  • Apr. 2001Announced the project bidding for ITS implementation
  • Feb. 2002Reviewed and evaluated the basic design

  • Feb. 2003 to Dec. 2004Established ITS
  • Feb. 2, 2005 Started operation of the ITS for Ulsan
  • Apr. 1, 2005Opened Ulsan Traffic Management Center (UTMC).
  • Feb. 2006Installed additional 80 BIT units
  • Apr. 2007Installed 50 units of BIT and 287 units of passenger information terminals Implemented the automated BIS (ARS, SMS)
  • Mar. 2008Installed 145 units of BIT. Executed the connection project for the Ulsan – Yangsan metro BIS
  • Nov. 2009 to Feb. 2009Executed the project to improve the transportation information collection system
  • Mar. 2009Installed additional 80 BIT units
  • Mar. 2010Installed 50 new BITs and replaced the 26 aged BITs
  • May 2010 to Nov. 2010Executed the ITS expansion and reinforcement project
